“You didn’t need to follow me, Ezra.” I said, looking at my brother over my shoulder.

I was sitting at the bar, drinking a cup of scotch, knowing that it wouldn’t take him too long before he made his appearance.

It was something that I expected, I had to be honest here, I just didn’t want it to happen.

“I know, but I followed you because I figured that you might need to talk to someone. You know, I am still your brother.” He said, and I shrugged before putting my glass down. I got up from my chair and went to walk past him. I already paid for my drinks before ordering them anyway, and the change would be left as a tip for the bartender.

“You and I both know that it would take a lot more than a year for us to be really brothers, Ezra.” I said, stopping him. It was times like this when I hated that he liked playing the brother card.
