Elena:

I stood in front of the front door of Ezra’s house, wondering whether or not I should go inside after what happened between Lia and I.

It was a windy day, and the trees that were in front of the house swayed a little. But despite the wind, it was hot, and I couldn’t help but frown as clouds formed before they disappeared again. The whole sky was off, and that was something that I didn’t understand.
