Sienna:

I frowned at the heavy feeling that settled in my chest as I opened my eyes.

My eyes met Arturo’s who was sitting on a chair by the bed, looking at me, watching my expression, studying it for a few seconds.

My heart raced against my ribcage, and I found myself wanting to escape his intense gaze. But the man didn’t seem as phased as I was, if anything, he seemed to be a lot more relaxed.
