Arturo:

I frowned when I entered the house as an uneasy feeling settled in my chest.

The smell of blood filled my nostrils, and the thing was, I didn’t even know whose blood it was.

Donatello frowned, and following the scent, we walked toward the garden to find blood in front of one of the trees.

The smell of my wife’s shampoo filled my nostrils and I frowned before shaking my head.

I didn’t wait for Donatello to comment before I ran toward the bedroom, hoping to find her asleep only for my heart to drop when I realized that her bed wasn’t even slept on.

“Alpha?” Donatello asked, frowning in confusion before I shook my head in confusion. She wouldn’t have left the pack. I knew that she would have called me if that happened.
