“We need to have sex.”
My eyes widened in surprise, and I scrambled even farther away from him. He tried getting closer to me, but I raised my hands up to stop him from walking towards me.
“No, no,” I said. “You’ve missed the point. I want to complete the mate bond, not have sex.”
He massaged his temples. “How the hell would we complete the mate bond if we don’t have sex?” he exclaimed in an aggravated voice.
“I don’t know!” I matched the volume of his voice. “How was I supposed to know that we need to have sex in order for us to complete the mate bond?”
“I don’t know! You should have known before you asked me to mate with you! How could you not know?”
I sighed and looked down on the ground. I’m pretty sure that I look like a tomato right now. I fanned myself to cool myself down a little bit.
