Aysel: Long-awaited Reunion

“I need you to clear your schedule for the day,” Azriel tells me all of a sudden. My gaze flickers towards Sarah who seems to be working but the way her typing changed its rhythm, I am sure she is listening to us.

“Where?” I murmur, not completely paying attention to him. The fact that Sarah still sits there, beside Azriel’s desk, irks me to no end.

“Somewhere.” He doesn’t elaborate and doesn’t show much curiosity either. In fact, it feels as if the words he uttered that night were more or less insincere.I have still yet to meet that ‘someone’ from the medical department, and he shows no sign of introducing me to them.

Hence, for this meeting or whatever, I won’t keep much hope.
