Dilemma

Blade’s POV

The morning birds chirped as they hovered around the sky above me.

I was laying flat on the wooden bench at the front of Camila’s cottage, watching the morning sun and the beauty that came along with it.

My eyes stung with tiredness but I couldn’t afford to shut them.

Killian, Lucia and Dan had lodged in Camila’s cottage and I felt uneasy and disturbed by their presence. That was the only reason why I had remained outside overnight without shutting my eyes for a second.

I heard the creaking of the front door and in three seconds, I caught Dan’s scent.

“Good morning, Alpha.” He said, looking down at me with a grim expression on his face.

“Mornin’ Dan.” I voiced.

He lifted a fallen log of wood and sat on it. His eyes were swollen and black and he had a broken nose and a busted lip which was still stained with blood.
