34. Forgive

Mila’s pov

Before the match, I was stupid, dumb, or maybe sentimental. I don’t fucking know. But getting ready for this tournament made me think of Argo and the things he had taught me.

If things were different, would he come today and watch me? Would he cheer me on from the sidelines and tell me I did a good job?

I sighed. What was wrong with me? Even now, I still wanted Argo’s approval.

Or maybe it was that Elora told me Airk and Argo’s birthdays were today. He would get his wolf today, and then he would meet his mate soon. What would she be like? Someone who would argue with him? A fighter like him? Or would he need someone who calmed him down, someone like Hazel?

Yeah. Stupid me had checked out Hazel’s social media a few times, and I must say it made me hate her less. For a while, at least. All her pictures were of animals, books she read, and food. Hardly any selfies, and all in all, pretty boring.

I'm so tired, but I wanted to write a chapter. i also need to write daily to get my mab. (it's ;ike a bonus from goodnovel.} anyway, we had a fun day. but we went into a VR rollercoaster and afterwards my oldest had to throw up. Luckily it was at the end of the day. we;re staying at a hotel in the park, so we'll go tomorrow as well and then leave when the park closes to drive back. It's 2.45 hour drive.

I hope Mila finally gives Argo a chance to actually apologize. She also needs to get pissed off at Eli for starting the fight and provoking Argo. I love that her mother had a heart to heart with Mila even if she doesn't know the details.
