The wolf nodded, "he is handling the pack well. Alpha Ciandra, you made the right decision leaving the pack under his guidance, but." The wolf paused.

Sadness swept through her, she knew what the wolf would say next. Instead of telling the wolf she understood and running along to continue what she was here for, she nodded at the wolf to continue.

The wolf lowered her tone, “I am sorry still we have no news on Alpha Hunter, Alpha Ciandra. We fear he might..." The next words stuck in the wolf’s throat.

She smiled at her encouragingly, "it is okay, thank you, dear."

Alpha Ciandra surprised both of them by calling her that. She bid her goodbye and asked the beta if it was okay to continue with their investigation.

The Wild Pack's border was heavily secured, Beta Garrick had sent numerous warriors to come and guard, and after each greeting with the warriors, Alpha Ciandra couldn't be any more proud of her beta.
