I got to my room and began pacing around. Something was not right; otherwise, how did Kylian know I had a sister called Liana? But Liana is dead, right? She was battered beyond recognition during the wolf attack that struck our pack many years ago and led to the deaths of my parents and other siblings.

So what did Kylian mean by “he was here with Liana?” How did he even know someone like that ever existed? Or was this one of his little silly games again? I was really confused about the whole thing and could barely keep calm.

"Mummy, you’ve been pacing around since you came in. Are you alright?” Liam asked tenderly.

Shit!! I didn’t want my kids to notice anything, and I didn’t want them to be scared.
