Chapter 43

Daisy was glad it was all over. The piercing gazes of the ruthless Alphas reduced but Alpha Ares wouldn't stop staring at her and she wondered why.

"Whatever!" She seethed. They won't try to force her to be their sacrificial lamb. Alpha Damon had told her coldly that they do not have the right to do so.

The Alpha's just shrugged her matter asides and dive into the day's discussion. She finally realized that he is right. It made her happy. She doesn't have to hide herself from them for the rest of her life.

While the meeting happened, she sat on her usual position beside the King, trying to pretend that she doesn't know that the meeting is about petition for slaves which Damon was fighting for. Daisy thought that being a slave, she isn't suppose to know about such trival matter. She is a slave, and a slave should be an object.

She pretended she didn't hear their discussion. During the meeting, she found out about the Alpha Damon she never knew.....
