Dante:

“How did you take me to your house without waking me up?” Aurora asked as she laid on my chest. I had my arms wrapped around her as I tried to distract her from what she told me earlier. It was the last thing I wanted her to think about right now.

“I dismissed all the employees a little early today, and made sure that they were all out before carrying you out. I wanted to take you home but figured that you would be startled when you realized that I was in here by myself. Plus, there’s also the fact that I didn’t have any clothes at your house…” I teased Aurora, tickling her waist. She laughed and curled up, trying to pry my hand away.

“You could have woken me up, you know. I wouldn’t have been such a fuss…”

“I already told you, you were exhausted as hell and I didn’t have it in me to wake you up. Plus, I wanted you to be comfortable about opening up and talking. I could tell that whatever it was that was bothering you, it wasn’t an easy thing to just easily talk about; therefor
