Declan
I watched the videos, and that was the worst experience of my life, so I couldn't even imagine how it was for Ava and her sister.
I was worried. Ava wasn't healing as a werewolf should, and the last beating she took almost made me come out of my skin. I had vomited several times, watching her go through what she went through. I knew she was still out there, somewhere in pain with injuries. It made me insane that I couldn't just run over there and bust the door down to get to her.
"Trent, call Lass and have him station some vampires to watch the pack just in case Sabin gets wind of this and decides to move the girls."
"Lasiter called me, and he's already taken care of that."
It was good to have good friends. But, that vampire would walk through hell for me, and I would do the same for him.

Declan I pushed play and leaned forward at my desk to study the footage of Ava in my club again. I had been obsessed and probably watched it a million times in the past month and a half because something was off. That's not the same Ava that I saw out and about with Sabin. Trent brought up the file, and it was full of video clips. They each just had the date it was filmed but no caption. I reached over him and scrolled the dates.
