Lea:

I had to admit, I didn’t expect, not for one second, that I would be coming back here after my father passed away.

The pain that I felt after losing him was one that I didn’t think I would be able to overcome easily, and I knew that I was just stabbed in the gut the second that I entered this place.

For it was one reason to be coming here, but a whole other reason to be handling the pain of knowing that I saw him alive as the two of us walked through this front door. He looked weary, but he was content that things were going to be okay. And though he refused to tell me what he was worried about, I knew that he seemed to be optimistic about getting it solved and taken care of.

“Lea, how are you?” Alpha Cosimo asked, smiling at me. I could tell that the man was surprised and that he was forcing a smile. The man didn’t expect to see me here, but then again, I didn’t expect to find myself being by his son’s side in the first place.
