Chapter 14 - Lies
Athens POV
I was in and out of consciousness the whole walk back to the packhouse. Being with Alpha Erik made the pain tolerable. My body had already sweated out the sedative he gave me. I was coated in a thick layer of sweat, and my muscles were shaking from exhaustion. I couldn't make out anything anyone was saying. The pain demanded all my attention. Even Phoenix was having trouble snapping me out of my trance.

Chapter 20 -Good and Evil I shot up from the bed as a sharp pain consumed me. My brain wasn't able to function. All I could think about was the throbbing in my chest. I struggled to breathe. Without her, I couldn't link anyone. I gritted my teeth as I forced my body to move. I pushed off the bed, crumbling to the floor. I dragged my body to the bathroom and pulled myself up by the tub.
