"What happened?", I urged at her. Her reaction towards Jay was haunting me. She gulped, gaping at him, and gathered herself.
"Just a minute, please", she took some time to be stable when my heart was beating faster. I should have expected this reaction from her since she had already warned me. There was definitely something wrong, terribly wrong.
