I was roaming outside the packhouse, holding my phone, waiting for his call. A few hours ago, he told me that he would call me but it had been so long. Why couldn't he understand that I couldn't be available anytime for him until William was in the pack? I was looking here and there while waiting when my phone rang.
A smile of bliss appeared on my face when I was about to take the call.
"Melissa", with that sharp heavy voice my heart pounded as I immediately cut the call and looked up at William. My eyes shot up, finding him frowning at me.
"What happened?", he took steps towards me. "I just called you, you could pick your phone", tugging his hands inside the pockets, he reached me as I faked a smile.
