Chapter 8: Marina POV I managed to make it back to the packhouse with little issue, though it was a rather long and uncomfortable hike. Everything was wet, thanks to my bra and underwear being wet, which meant everything had chaffed on the walk back home. None of which did anything to help my mood. Chapter 9: Gray’s POVThe attack had been short and uncoordinated, so my warriors had defeated them without much of an issue. No lives were lost on from our pack, so all in all I’d consider it a win… Except, I couldn’t figure out WHY they attacked.
