Too Much To Ask

Haria almost couldn't leave the mansion because of her brother's strictness. And when her sister Marvie tried to plead with their older brother, she immediately stopped her as she didn't want the situation to get worse. She was afraid that Jacob might get hurt even more.

Her mind was centered on Jacob now and she only thought about him. She wanted to go to him to check his condition as she knows that he was very hurt by the beating he received from her brother.

She just came back to her senses when she heard a series of knocks on the door of her room.

"Haria, open the door. It's your sister Marvie."

Haria heard her sister's voice from the outside and she immediately opened it after she wiped the tears that flowed down her cheeks using her hands.

"You have a visitor downstairs, Haria. Do you want to entertain him?"
