Her head was pounding and the cold chilling air had her body shivering. She wanted to move and grab her blanket but when she tried to move she realized she wasn't in her bed. Her body was heavy like a mountain. She could barely move her hand. Her neck throbbed and her head pounded. With much difficulty, she opened her eyes to find herself in a dark room. Three days have passed and there was no sign of Lennox. After that night when he unleashed his demons on her, marked her, and drank from her, she passed out. The next morning Violet woke up in her room with her sisters sitting beside her on the bed and peering down at her. She instantly tried to cover the mark but noticed that she was wearing a turtleneck. Violet didn't turn to look at him to confirm her doubt about the supposed person in her room because she already knew he was there. She felt it at the door.
