I looked down at the t-shirt that I was wearing. “Chase, could I er… borrow some pants?” He grinned at me.
“I’m trying to get your clothes off, not help you put on more.” I glared at him.
“I’m sure your father will be fine with me walking round your room half naked, then?” He shrugged and winked at me.
“I think he probably would, actually.”
“CHASE!” I exclaimed. He laughed at my glare.

Even though the Alpha had given me an explanation for my apparent Alpha status, I could tell that he wasn’t being completely honest. (Kaeleigh’s POV)Family breakfast was in the private dining room for the Alpha on the same floor. The whole floor was set aside for the Alpha and his family, including a few guest rooms designed for visiting Alphas.I dragged my heels a little as we walked round the halls into the main living area, which consisted of a large living room, dining room and den.
