20- Maya

Third Person's POV

Maya went to Jacob's room and decided to stay there for a while. She didn't want to see anyone at the very moment and wanted to think about everything that was happening. She was completely OK without a mate, she was ready to accept the fact that she would be alone for the rest of her life.

What she didn't expect was that Jacob would come to her life. Jacob who doesn't want her or a mate for that matter. She was thinking why she was such a jinx that she couldn't find herself a mate who would accept her.

She knew that Jacob didn't want her because of anything else. It was because he was hurt and betrayed by his father's mate, his own mother. "But, he should have thought that I was my own self and not his mother or anyone else who had done him wrong." she thought. "I am strong and I could live without one in my life. I would never stress myself out because of a mate who couldn't move forward because of his hatred." she added.
