34. Punishment
Kai
Caterina gets bolder by the day, and her little stunt earlier just pushed me over the edge. Now, as she stands in front of me feigning innocence, it makes me want to show her exactly the type of person her mate is.
“I don’t like repeating myself, Caterina,” I warn, trailing the blunt side of the knife in the valley between her breasts. What I truly wanted to do was tear the entire fucking dress off, but that would have to wait.
I don’t want to give her that satisfaction just yet.

Caterina As I open my eyes, I am assaulted by a splitting headache and immediately let out a groan. The images are blurred but soon come into focus, and I realize that I am back at the penthouse. Did I fall asleep in the car? The last thing I remember is walking towards the car with Kai's hand in mine. I must have been entirely out of it and drained to have passed out like that. Kai After watching how relaxed and calm she was during today's outing, I didn’t want to ruin her peace of mind.
