Kate POV
Sitting across from my father in his office, we have been staring at one another for a few minutes. I had taken the time I needed to compose myself. I was hurt that he had decided to take such a risk with the Pack. I couldn’t dwell on it, I had other things we needed to discuss.

Kate POV I put on the stunning black and gold gown I had picked out for the ceremony tonight. My hair had been done in wavy curls, my makeup a bit more done up than my usual mascara and lip gloss. Kate POV “I Challenge Katelyn Adams for the Alpha title of the Golden Moon Pack!”. I couldn’t believe what I had heard. It was resonating through my mind, without fully comprehending. Looking into the crowd I wait for the voice to come forward. It’s familiar but with the crowd who jumped up loudly the voice was lost in the crowd.
