Serenity's tone made him almost believe that she probably had a side career as an actress.
His furrowed brows displayed well the discomfort that spread over him, and he pulled his hand away from her immediately, taking a step away from her.
"Stop that," he warned.
"Now, don't be mad, darling. I know I was wrong, alright? I won't ask you buy the dress for me," Serenity voiced out.
Afraid of her mouth babbling anymore nonsense, Kieran grabbed her hand and stated, "Let's get out of here."
As she was being pulled along, she said, "What about the dress?"
Feeling a headache forming, Kieran raised his voice. "Just get it!"
Serenity chuckled and handed the dress over to the saleswoman. Once the packing of the dress was done, Serenity grabbed all the bags from the countertop and stepped out from the store with her head raised high.
