Author’s POV:

After they made the decision, Silver was the one who packed to travel to the Dark Autumn Pack with Aramis.

“I want to come too.” Layla sat down in the bed, watching Silver prepare for the journey.

“You can though. Just pack your stuff. I will sneak you in one of the baby’s bags.” Silver was worried everybody was falling into a deep depression. It was nice to sometimes make a little joke, but Layla didn’t feel the same. Her life seemed to have stopped after the attack. She didn’t see any improvement in her relationship with Aramis and that was worrying her.

“Layla! I understand what your feelings are, but things take time. As for Aramis, you were made aware repeatedly that he might never accept you like he did Phoenix. You chose this life for yourself, so you need to be patient and positive about it. Or, you can quit. Nobody will force you to stay.” Silver didn’t just want to dismiss her emotions. She was aware of her state as well, but there was not much they could do ex
