Betrayed

You could say... my whole life was a mess.

I kept going through repeated painful days. My body and mind ached, they felt exhausted. I've tried to ignore the evil words, but the play of their tongues is too sharp for my fragile heart.

Trying to end life in my own hands? Of course, I wanted to try, but hope always arose when my family treated me like a normal person, not like a piece of trash that had to be put away. A hope that both energized and tormented me.
