Doubt

Her face was flushed. Her pupils moved quickly to look around. When she found what she was looking for, her hand moved with lightning speed to pick up a glass vase and throw it with a loud jolt. The transparent object hit the back of someone's head. The glass shattered along with droplets of thick red liquid.

I gasped at the sight. Spontaneously, I covered my gaping mouth.

Has she gone mad?

"How dare you who is just a leader warriors pack reject an Alpha! You have no right to do that!" she shouted with bulging eyes. The veins of her hands and neck were visible, showing that she had maximized the pitch of her voice.

Adam looked equally surprised. He hurriedly took off his jacket, rolled it into a bundle, and placed it on the back of his father's head. His worried gaze was fixed on his father's head which continued to drip blood.

"You shouldn't have lied to me! You should have been grateful that I accepted you as my matriarch despite our age gap. But what, you betrayed me!" Alpha Arora
