"Please don't cross the line."

It was so quiet that I could even hear the sound of the breeze. My attention fell on Alpha Theron's mysterious eyes. It was as if something was pulling me there.

My consciousness jolted. I blinked my eyes a few times before finally looking at Alpha Theron who had a sad expression. He looked as if he was hoping for something, but at the same time, he seemed to have given up.

"Alpha Theron, it looks like you're exhausted from having a long business conversation with me."

I walked over and patted his arm lightly. "I'll pretend I never heard of it. I need you as a colleague, I would find it hard to lose someone as competent as you. So, please don't cross the line."

Alpha Theron bowed deeply. "Alright. However, if you feel you need help, don't hesitate to tell me."

I nodded with a sweet smile etched on my lips. "Well, you're not a stranger after all, you're a reliable business partner."

"In that case, I'll excuse myself." I turned around and walked away. Slowly the smile on my lips faded,
