158 - Despair

My despair was cut short. Rainbows always come after heavy rain. All my worries faded instantly after I let out all my sobs in front of Alpha who was willing to be my backup.

David didn't want my tears to drag on. He gave me the idea to get some fresh air after the doctor allowed me to get off the hospital bed.

Accompanied by Isabelle, who helped take care of my baby, we walked through the deserted hospital to refresh my mind. Behind me, David was quietly observing. I didn't know he still wouldn't allow me to see Hilbert in his room.

If my guess was right, my Alpha's condition was extremely poor. To the point that it would probably make me even more depressed and guilty in the end.

But it wouldn't be me if I didn't make the people around me anxious. With just a few minutes of them being off guard from me, my trail was already lost to them.

The search began. They had no idea that my feet were forcing me to find where Hilbert's room was and visit it.
