I signed and went back to tell the rest of the story,but found myself lost in the memory lane.

"Alpha Dimitri took me away from that cell,left my mother bleeding behind. I remembered I was looking over my shoulder until I could not see anything in the dark .My four years old self tried to fight his tight hold on my arm. I bit him on his hand , Dimitri had to leave me but I wasn't able to get far before he caught me in the crook of his arm.It was the first time he put his hand on me . That night the walls of the basement ring from the painful screams when Dimitri whipped me with a silver whip on my back over a hundred times".

I looked down at my mate who was sitting by my feet holding my joined hands on my lap. Her expression was mirroring mine. Vulnerable and sad. A tear rolled down her glossy eyes.Her cheeks and nose were flushed. It seems as if every word of mine was breaking a part of her.I do not know how an angel like her was paired with a monster like me.
