“You are going to finish this and then your grandpa will read you a story,” I kissed Hope’s forehead, making her finish the glass of milk and then gesturing at my father to join her.
It’s been some days since she had returned to the house and was doing much better than before as well. I haven’t spoken to Silas again, we never even looked at each other’s faces.
After he gave blood to her, he disappeared for an entire day. Roxanna and Tessa didn’t know anything yet, they thought Silas had somehow arranged a doctor to get blood from Desmond.
I haven’t let Roxanne or Tessa come over here and see Hope for now as the doctor advised Hope to complete bed rest.
As for Desmond, I haven’t informed him of her health. I wasn’t ready to see him and I feared if he got the news, he will come here and start questioning me about where did I arrange the blood from?
