Roxanne's POV:

I have reached home at midnight and was welcomed by my mother at the doorstep.

“Take her stuff back to her room,” mother ordered the guards, eyeing them to not delay. I had been holding my tears in for hours ever since I sat down in the car but once I had to step back into my house, I felt back to being zero.

“It is all over?” I asked my mom in tears, rushing in her arms to cry on her chest. I was a loser to achieve everything and then lose it.

“It is not. You still have one last plan, the plan we worked on all these years,” My mother patted my back to comfort me. 

“It was bound to happen. I cannot believe you have ruined your daughter’s life like that,” father has heard about my arrival and even when he was a little late to receive me at the door, he made sure the first thing he does is to taunt mother.
