I haven’t been able to think about anything else after Rick told me that he knew we were mates. I didn’t stay behind to have a word with him, instead, I rushed past him like a mad woman and took the car back home.
“Roxanne!” my mother must have seen me as I sprinted inside the mansion; panting and nervously pinching my fingers.
“What happened? You went to see Silas, did he say something?” she stopped me in the hallway and made me look at her face to answer her.
“I--- I met--- my mate there,” as soon as those words escaped my lips, a smile covered my mother’s lips.
“What? you are happy?” I slapped her hand off of mine and stepped back from her. I was shocked to see her happy because I didn’t want any other mate, I only wanted Silas even if he loses the crown or his business.
