Hidden roots

Eros is confused when all of a sudden Emanuel froze in his spot. He is looking at Iris, but he is not really looking at her.

Iris is confused as well. The royal priest is looking at her as if he knows who she is. But this is the first time she is looking at him. She turned her gaze towards Eros who is equally confused as she is.

"Priest Emanuel" Eros addressed the dazed-looking priest loudly so that Emanuel could pull himself out of wherever he got stuck in.

Emanuel is jolted out of the past by the commanding voice of his king. He turned away from the princess and gave his full attention to his king.
