Chapter Eighteen

I looked into Leo's eyes and I found my feet frozen to the floor. He was giving her a murderous look and his grip on her were fierce.

I somehow felt pity for her. But when I recalled her earlier utterance my anger took charge.

Elivinia had a shocked expression on her face and I wondered if he had always been like that or was this his first time?

Leo forcefully threw her hand down to her side and I heard her angry gasp. He then turned to Jack who he gave more angry glance.

"You were here why this thing tried to slap my mate." He said with contempt, and I shifted uneasily. I knew I had to step in for Jack was not wrong here and I can't have him punished when actually I was the one who restricted him from stepping in.

I stepped in between them as Leo made to hit Jack. "Stop it Leo, at least hear from me. I had asked him not to interfere, abd he was only following my orders."
