Sophie was wide awake. She lied down on the bed waiting until Alpha Jones would come in. She wanted an explanation of what happened in the throne room. She was bewildered by how he was almost licking Scott's feet.She made a grimace instead of welcoming him with the usual affectionate smile but Alpha Jones didn't even notice her countenance.He moved onto the bed beside her. He kept smiling. His joy was profound. It wasn't fake. He had not only failed to recognize his wife frowning. He was also unconscious of everything around him.She couldn't understand what made him so happy despite how hard she had tried to show she was angry at him."What happened out there?" Sophie asked straight."Nothing. We wanted to see Scott through a shirt and he walked in through the door" he conveyed quickly. Alpha Jones' happiness was enough to stop him from beating about the bush. "We wanted to see Scott?" she couldn't believe how he was sounding."Isn't that why the Mage went to bring out his shirt?

It was happening. There was nothing no one could say to stop this any longer. Sophie watched with a gloomy face."Come on!" Alpha Jones stood up to welcome Scott into the throne room. He waited until he made it to his side. "Why are we here?" the Mage asked impatiently. He had not yet recovered from the trauma of what he witnessed the previous day. It was such a horrible experience to see Alpha Jones switching like that."We will get there, Mage" Alpha Jones said softly as he smiled on. The smile that erupted with Scott's arrival."Thanks for putting the trust in me" Scott smiled broadly. He and Alpha Jones were the only happy duo out of the five of them."Go down on your knees" Alpha Jones instructed Scott.Scott knelt down before him. "Is this a beta, the only thing you can do is chanting banter" David mocked Scott. It seemed the Mage was too skeptic to decide where to stay for them."This isn't just any natural happening. Two guards held another one and dragged him inside.Sophie could recognize the guard being dragged. He was the one at the Mage's cell. She knew immediately what was happening."What's the fuss all about?" Alpha Jones slammed the arm of his throne. His loud voice brought the guards to a halt.They didn't say anything. Sophie scurried into the room and sat on the bed. She buried her face in her hands and tried to catch her breath.After some moment, she heaved a long sigh.She needed to find the Mage to start the major purpose why she helped him escape. She must not waste more time after the statement made by Alpha Jones.It seemed Scott's enchantment on him was potent than she thought.But there was a mistake in her plan. It wouldn't be easy to find the Mage. He was not traceable. He gave no clue about where he was headed and she had to find him before the guards.She started storming her brain thinking of possible places where the Mage could be found. He must have gone to a place where he believed Alpha Jones wouldn't think of.First thing, she would need to disguise as someone else before making any contact with him.
