The Priest’s secret spy
Raul was heartbroken to hear the news he heard about Stacy. She seemed so innocent to him that he could hardly believe that she was the spy that the priest warned him about.
He wanted to head inside and question her but tries to control his temper. “So where is Balaam now?” he asked.
The governor replied. “He is safe.”
“So I have lost almost a hundred and thirty abled fighters?” Raul wanted to be sure of what he had lost so he asked.
“I’m sorry, Raul. You need to know that we will not rest until we have gotten more men to fight with you.” Tom tried to console him.
Raul’s eyes did not leave the house as he imagined himself dealing personally with Stacy because he was the one who brought her to the group and everyone trusted her because of him. he felt guilty and wanted to correct the situation as quickly as he could.
