Then Raul sat up straight and whispered something into Lucas ears. Stacy struggled to hear what he was saying but could not get anything. Then Lucas signalled the guard and whispered into his ears as well.
At this, Stacy threw them a stern look wondering what they were up to. She then spotted the guard approaching with a cane in his hand towards her. She gasped and screamed.
“What are you doing?” Raul asked her. “You’re not in your world anymore. No one can save you here. Here, you are surrounded by werewolves who hate and despise you so would you rather be in their hands or here where you are still considered despite your shortcomings.”
Stacy swallowed hard as she gazed at the guard who stood beside her with his hands folded in front of him.
“Then why is he here, holding up this cane? Is it for me?” she asked, her voice shaking with fear.
