Chapter 44- New Beginings

As much as I have prayed to the Goddess that my baby would stop trying to rush their birth so they won’t be born in the Fae Realm, my prayers have gone unanswered. I find myself alone in a barren hut, in the middle of a ruthless camp, about to give birth to my child on my own.

I would ask if this day could get any worse, but I fear that it could. If those men outside of this hut sense that I am in labor, they could pounce on me while I am weakened. I would not be able to defend myself, and my child, while going through the pains of labor. And it is painful as hell. Another delightful thing that women failed to tell me about.
