Chapter seventy eight

DAVINA’S POV

I couldn't believe I was paired with Raiden in this cooking competition. Seeing him again stirred up some old feelings and it was a bit awkward at first. However, as we began cooking, we found ourselves chatting and laughing like old times. I must admit, Raiden was a great cook, and I was impressed with his skills in the kitchen.

We had to cook a three-course meal, and we were currently in the second round. The first course was an appetizer, and we had already prepared a delicious shrimp cocktail. For the second course, we had to prepare a pasta dish, and we were working on it together.

"So, Davina, what's new in your life?" Raiden asked, breaking the silence.

"Not much," I replied, stirring the pasta in the pot. "I've been busy with work mostly."

"I see," he said. "Well, I've been keeping myself busy too. I started my own business recently."
