Chapter 72: Trapped by a giant prison

"We just need to get out of the fog; it's just that we've been stuck in it since yesterday," Alfine explained. “I used to do reconnaissance in the dark and fog; even without a compass, I could guess the direction.” He held out the hand containing Lagan's broken compass. "Your compass is jammed, follow it, and you'll never get out."

Lagan held his forehead. "Bad! But you're undeniably perfect; it's wise to let you follow us." Then he changed his face and seriously warned us. “Be careful with everything and don't touch anything, especially colorful things. And remember to follow my footsteps closely, don't accidentally incite any wacky stuff here."

"Yes." I took a deep breath to clear my mind.

Because I wanted to ensure I didn't make a mistake, my footsteps stepped on Lagan's footprints.

Unconsciously, a breeze blew, bringing a few dry leaves down and brushing my cheek; I was startled to stand still, then stroked my chest with my hand, all of which was to scare myself.
