The Chata was awfully quiet as they waited for the reason an unscheduled Assembly was called by Matin two hours ago. Everyone who could make it hurried down as soon as they could with many hoping it wasn’t to announce that they had lost their strongholds in the human world: Sameer’s and Axel’s as the Head of Defense and Chief of Police respectively because losing those holds meant without reasonable doubts that they failed as a Clan in achieving their mission in the human world…
Rico cleared his throat loudly, drawing everyone’s attention to him but for some reasons he couldn’t fathom he didn’t feel his usual calm or confidence.
