"I didn't expect to be using the pack cemetery so soon," Saint mused as she ambled toward me out of the thicket.

I glared at the four unmarked graves with a sigh. We had cleared out a section of land a few miles away from the pack house which now served as a graveyard. For a long while, the land was left unused but we had wolves maintaining it for when we did need it.

"I never expected that the first time we used this place, would be for this," I added onto Saint's musings while massaging the ache at the back of my neck.

She hummed in response, standing shoulder to shoulder with me, "Let me guess," Saint followed my gaze to the heap of sand in front of me which hid a mangled body beneath, "That's where you put Jason."
