I've never been so happy, nervous, and scared at the same time as I am today.

Today was the first time I saw a woman in labor.

Last time, I was not with Gina when she had our first babies, but the moon goddess blessed me with another chance.

My heart was hurting for Gina; she was in immense pain, and I couldn't do anything about it except hold her hand and keep my mouth shut when she cursed me with every bad word.

The sound of my babies crying is the most perfect sound I've ever heard.

Cutting their cords was the most amazing thing I ever did; it was like cutting ties with their previous life in their mother's womb and welcoming the new life outside.

"They are so perfect," Gina said. I looked at her, tears streaming down both of our faces.

I kept looking at my daughters in my arms when my son was in the nurse's hands.

What should we name them?" I asked Gina, but when I got no response from her, panic stirred in me.

I grew pale; different scenarios were coming to mind.
