Chapter Sixty-Five

Jasmine‘s POV

I heard that Sheira woke up later that night but I couldn’t go see her. I already knew how she was going to react so I wanted her sort out her feelings for tomorrow.

It was time for dinner so I made my way downstairs in a long baggy top. I wasn’t in a very good mood. I started throwing up again after we came back and Alex didn’t know about it. I didn’t want to tell him about it rather.

It was just Alex, Nana, Jacob, Bertha and I in the dining. The rest of the pack dined in the main dining table.

“Are you okay? You look pale.” Nana asked me and I drank some water.

“I don’t feel too good but I am okay. It won’t kill.” I said to her with a laugh and could feel Alex’s piercing eyes on my skin but I didn’t look up. I just kept nibbling on my food.

“I told you not to come with us. Why didn’t you listen to me?” Alex asked all of a sudden with a frown on his face.

“This isn’t the time for all of this. Cut the girl some slack for goodness sake.” Grandma defended me.
