Jasmine’s POV

The first difference that I noticed was the weather change. It was as thoughts something bad was going to happen. “Jasmine.” Alex called out to me and I gave him my hand.

I changed to some jeans and a free top. I am glad it came in handy.

“How long are we going to walk? Are you sure this is where she is?” I asked Jacob and he nodded.

“You both go here, you here.” he assigned the guards on where to go and it was remaining two guard with us.

“You have to be very careful. There are booby traps around and anything can jump out of there.” he pointed to the heavy forest around us and I was stuck to his side while Jacob was ahead of us with no hesitation on his face.

“I have found her.” Jacob said and we could hear screaming from a distance. It was clear that it Sheira’s voice.

She seemed to be shouting at whoever was in her front. We were behind the trees and she kept crying.

Jacob was about to go but Alex held him back. “Let her be. She must have been holding those emotions
