Chapter Thirty-Four

Torrin’s POV

It’s not like we didn’t know what was happening down by the lake, and we all stood inside the treeline with our backs turned, affording them as much privacy as possible whilst guarding their safety.

I have been hoping for and dreading this moment for years, and when Aggie mind linked me from the kitchen the day Zaine lost his mind when he found her, I was ready to go in, guns blazing, take Sophia and run for the hills.

It’s not that Zaine is a bad person. He is the best Alpha the pack could have hoped for after his father was killed. His ruthlessness has kept us safe, his reputation has been our shield and there was no way I was going to let him break her heart and kill her with a rejection for being the omega she was never meant to be.
