CHAPTER 27: What Is Love?

“We can’t hide this for a longer period of time, eventually everyone’s gonna learn that Jade is dead.” Arthur spoke while I was recalling the moment, I shot Jade without any ounce of remorse.

“People might attack the Amber eyes pack too knowing that their alpha is no more, I know you have a thing for that weird girl.” He spoke yet again and I looked at him as he began talking about my Aurora.

“I won’t let anything happen to her.” I said.

“Do you think that she’s in danger? Haven’t she faced too many catastrophes and came out of them alive like… ‘big deal man’, huh! Think about it Zeus, a bunch of werewolves were following her yet she managed to escape, I don’t know what would convince you in believing that she’s a threat to us if not this.”

“That’s another topic, I want her here… safe and sound. I believe people might harm her and I would show them the darker side of humanity if she even shed a single drop of tear.” I spoke clenching my fists imagining someone hurting her.
