IRENE'S POV

I was scared knowing that Paul could get himself killed, jumping off the truck. I had tears in my eyes, I hoped that Ethan would come back to save me, I knew that this was a hard task for Ethan, he couldn't handle these trucks all by himself.

"I guess I would have to move on without Ethan" I stuttered wearing a smile on my face, knowing that it was really rare for Ethan to make it out of that alive, I knew he must have been killed. I should move on, I could meet his corpse and give him a befitting burial when I take his body home.

"Remembered he said he's coming back to take you and your brother so don't make it harder for him" my wolf exclaimed, she was right but I couldn't risk Arianna coming back here instead of Ethan. She would hesitate to shoot me, that I would be sure of.

"Do you think he would survive the fight between him and six trucks loaded with soldiers and their guns?" I sighed as I pushed Paul aside.

"Yes, I'm sure he'd come back to me" She was referring to E
